 Zango Kataf, Jaba PDP Committees Hold Reconciliation Meeting Ahead Of 2027 Elections The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Working Committees in Zango Kataf and Jaba Local Government Areas have held a strategic reconciliation meeting aimed at strengthening party unity and positioning the party for success in the 2027 general elections. The meeting, held on Friday, July 31, 2026, in Jaba Local Government Area, was jointly chaired by the PDP Chairmen of Jaba and Zango Kataf LGAs, Sabastine David Bijiri and Martins Markus Koyah. It brought together party executives, stakeholders, ward officials, elders, youth and women leaders, as well as members from both local government areas. Speaking at the meeting, the Zango Kataf PDP Chairman commended party leaders and members for supporting the zoning of the party’s House of Representatives ticket to Zango Kataf Local Government Area. Lebanese arrested for defiling underage girls                 32 year old Jack Sankary from Lebanon was arrested in Ondo state capital for having carnal knowledge of under-aged girls in Akure.he was arrested by detctives.Chinwe Chinasa,was arrested for allegedly trafficking six young girls to libya for prostitution,she was arrested at olufoam area of Federal Housing Estate Shagari village in Akure.it was discovered that 6 young girls had been prepared for the journey to libya.part of the preparation includes shaving of their hairs and cutting of their nails.some of the girls confirmed that the suspect deceived their parents that she was going to help them look for jobs and not prostitution.Patience Godwin,is currently undergoing interrogation at the state CID.she was arrested at her hid out in Odopetu area of Akure metropolis and a 14 year old girl about to be taken to the Lebanese,was rescued.
