 ‘I’ll turn off the mic’ — Remi Tinubu reins in Adeleke’s singing at Ooni’s anniversary First Lady Oluremi Tinubu cautioned Ademola Adeleke, the Osun state governor, for prolonged singing during his remarks at the 10th coronation anniversary celebration of Adeyeye Ogunwusi, the Ooni of Ife. The moment, captured in a now-viral video, occurred as the governor mounted the podium on Sunday to pay tribute to the monarch and to congratulate the Remi on her newly bestowed chieftaincy title, Yeye Asiwaju Gbogbo Ile Oodua. Rather than proceed immediately with his formal message, Adeleke, popularly known as the “Dancing Governor” for his spirited public appearances, burst into a short musical chant, drawing laughter from parts of the audience. EX-GOVERNMENT OFFICIALS,TO RETURN ALL GOVERNMENT PROPERTIES TAKEN AFTER THEIR TENURE.

                                          According to sources,a committee has been set up by the Federal Government,saddled with the responsibility of recovering government property from former government officials.Mallam Garba Shehu,the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity,confirmed the situation,during a chat with some newsmen in Abuja on sunday ''That is precisely the case,even here at the Villa,there are cars and other property belonging to the government which are yet to be returned.The Buhari's administration will soon begin to demand for the return of these assets.The aim was not to embarrass anyone but to return the properties to government.The properties belong to the Nigerian people.We are not trying to humiliate anyone by asking them to return their cars or houses.Change has come,that is why we have to do things differently now.Imagine how much Nigeria will save by retrieving and re-using these government properties instead of purchasing new ones for new government officials''.
