 Legendary actor Manoj Kumar dies at 87: ‘Roti Kapada Aur Makaan’ director breathes his last in Mumbai Manoj Kumar, the Bollywood actor and filmmaker, renowned for his patriotic films, passed away at the age of 87 at Mumbai's Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital. The cause of his death was identified as cardiogenic shock due to acute myocardial infarction, according to medical reports. The medical reports confirmed that apart from a severe heart attack that took away his life, Manoj had been battling decompensated liver cirrhosis for the past few months, ANI reported. Following deteriorating health condition, he was admitted to the hospital on February 21, 2025. Popularly known as ‘Bharat Kumar,’ Manoj Kumar was an exceptional director and actor who was honoured with National Film Award. NIGERIAN TROOPS WHILE ON PATROL,ENCOUNTRED ARMED BANDITS AT MADAKA VILLAGE IN ZAMFARA STATE.{PHOTOS}.

                                               The Nigerian army reported today sunday that '' As part of the activities marking the Nigerian Army Day Celebrations {NADCEL} 2016,troops involved in live field training exercise code named ''Exercise HARBIN KUNAMA''.have intensified patrol of the various forests in Zamfara State.It is in line with that troops of 223 Battalion while on patrol encountered armed bandits at Madaka village,Maru Local Government Area in which thy killed 9 armed bandits and recovered 3 AK-47 rifles,2 AK-47 rifles magazine,3 rounds of 7.62mm {Special} ammunition,1 machete and 24 motrcycles.Similarly,local vigilantes at Yargada village,Gusau Local Government Area apprehended a fleeing suspected armed bandit and handed him over to troops deployed at Magami.In a related development,troops have also raided a bandit camp at Gangamai village in Dansadau Local Government Area.During the raid there was an exchange of fire between the troops and the armed bandits.Unfortunately,the bandits escaped with gun shot wounds.However,the troops recovered 2 Dane Guns bags containing marijuana {aka Indiam hemp}.Another team also carried out raid on cattle rustlers and armed bandits camp at Gidan Mai Jaja in Dansadau general area.Here,the ruslers and armed bandits fled on sighting the approaching troops abandoning 85 cows,37 sheep and a donkey.Similarly,another patrol team also carried out a raid on a armed bandits and cattle rustlers camp at Gobirawan Kwacha where they killed 2 armed bandits and recovered a machete''.-Colonel Sani Kukasheka Usman,Acting Director Army Public Relations.More photos below.

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Baba Ijesha through his counsel Kayode Olabiran on Tuesday, told the appeal court that his client was set up and that he acted according to a script that he was invited to act on by his colleague. “The Appellant was set up.
