A TEXAS MAN IS BEING CHARGED WITH MURDER AFTER HE SHOT AN ARMED HOME INTRUDER WHO FORCED HIS WAY INTO HIS HOME.(PHOTO).
A Texas man is being charged with m*rder after he shot an armed home intruder who forced his way into his home. This alarming incident occurred on the evening of Friday, January 9th; in Big Springs, Texas. On the night in question, the Big Springs Police Department responded to a home after receiving a 911 call. Upon their arrival, they were met outside by 43-year-old Joel Florez, pictured below. While questioning Florez, they learned that there was a gunshot victim inside of the home. When officers made their way into the home they discovered 36-year-old Phillip Lozano deceased from a gunshot wound. During the ensuing investigation, they learned Lozano had forced his way into the home while armed with a weapon. Once inside the home, Florez shot Lozano, causing a fatal injury. For unknown reasons, officers determined there was probable cause to charge Joel Florez with homicide in the death of Philip Lozano. A warrant for the arrest of Joel Florez was issued, and he was...
