 Resident Doctors Suspend Planned Strike The Association of Resident Doctors (ARD) has suspended its planned nationwide strike, earlier scheduled to commence today Monday 12th of January 2026, Following fresh engagements with the Federal Government, The North-Central caucus of the association announced the suspension after a series of consultations with government representatives, saying the decision was taken in the interest of patients while discussions continue. The caucus leader, Dr Fanen Dogoh, however, said the suspension does not mean the issues that prompted the strike threat have been resolved. The resident doctors had planned to embark on industrial action over the continued failure of the government to honour a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) reached with the National Association of Resident Doctors (NARD). Among the key demands is the immediate reinstatement of doctors sacked from the Federal Teaching Hospital (FTH), Lokoja, over alleged unauthorised protest and union...

              Following the unfortunate fire outbreak at DMGS ROUND-ABOUT that destroyed houses,cars,properties,offices,shops,keke and other valuables on wednesday {night} 15th February,2017.The Government of Anambra State took bold and diligent steps to ensure full compliance to the Governor's order which is the closure of all petrol stations situated within residential areas.The seal-off exercise began on Tuesday,21st February 2017,and affected Petrol Service Stations located around some residential areas of Anambra State,as part of Government's attempt to safeguard the lives and properties of Ndi Anambra.More photos below.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.  Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”. He said: “Our orders for four attack helicopters from the United States of America will take some time to arrive. We have approached Turkey for assistance.” The President, however, stated that the delays were affecting the public’s perception of the administration’s commitment to addressing the security challenges.
