 LASG REAFFIRMS COMMITMENT TO END TUBERCULOSIS IN COMMUNITIES IN LAGOS STATE The Lagos State Government on Tuesday reaffirmed its commitment to completely eradicate Tuberculosis (TB) at the grassroots level across the metropolis.  The Permanent Secretary, Lagos State Health District III, Dr. Monsurat Adeleke made this known during a courtesy visit by the Institute of Human Virology, Nigeria team to her Ikoyi office, emphasising the present administration's commitment to continually prioritise health security across the state. She said the Lagos State First Lady, Dr. (Mrs.) Claudiana Sanwo-Olu, is a Tuberculosis (TB) champion with the mandate of ending TB now and the continuous expansion of TB scale-up diagnostic centres.  According to her, “The First Lady of Lagos State, Dr. (Mrs.) Claudiana Sanwo-Olu is a TB champion. LECTURER ACCUSED OF BEATING HIS WIFE TO DEATH 2-WEEKS AFTER SHE GAVE BIRTH,IN RIVERS STATE.{PHOTOS}.

      A lecturer at the College of Health in Rivers state, Mr Jonathan, has been accused of beating his wife, Ole, to death, just two weeks after she welcomed their child.
In a post shared on Facebook, an aunt of the deceased, Nkesi Wogu, alleged that Mr Jonathan, is currently on the run after beating Ole to death in the presence of her mother.
''My niece with a two weeks old baby was beaten to death by her husband the man is oh the run his from etche and also a witness. Good bye my soft spoken sis rest in peace'' she wrote
Also the sister of the deceased, Constance Wogboroma, took to facebook to mourn her. She wrote
'' My own sister, My very best friend, my gist mate. So our discussion yesterday was a good bye. Hey! My heart is very heavy o. How i wish tears can just bring you back for us especially for your 2 weeks old baby.
The matter has since been reported to the police and investigations have since commenced.One more photo below.
