 NUT Protest : Wike Warns Against Politicising Insecurity The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has warned against politicising insecurity amid protests by the Nigeria Union of Teachers, FCT wing, over the killing and abduction of school staff and children in Oyo State. Teachers stormed the FCTA Secretariat in Abuja to condemn the killing of Michael Oyedokun and to demand the release of abducted pupils and teachers from Community High School, Ahoro-Esinle in Oriire Local Government Area. The FCT minister addressed the protesters on Tuesday, saying the federal government is on its toes working to secure the rescue of the schoolchildren and their teachers. Wike urged protesters to avoid turning the tragedy into a political issue and to give security efforts time to produce results. LECTURER ACCUSED OF BEATING HIS WIFE TO DEATH 2-WEEKS AFTER SHE GAVE BIRTH,IN RIVERS STATE.{PHOTOS}.

      A lecturer at the College of Health in Rivers state, Mr Jonathan, has been accused of beating his wife, Ole, to death, just two weeks after she welcomed their child.
In a post shared on Facebook, an aunt of the deceased, Nkesi Wogu, alleged that Mr Jonathan, is currently on the run after beating Ole to death in the presence of her mother.
''My niece with a two weeks old baby was beaten to death by her husband the man is oh the run his from etche and also a witness. Good bye my soft spoken sis rest in peace'' she wrote
Also the sister of the deceased, Constance Wogboroma, took to facebook to mourn her. She wrote
'' My own sister, My very best friend, my gist mate. So our discussion yesterday was a good bye. Hey! My heart is very heavy o. How i wish tears can just bring you back for us especially for your 2 weeks old baby.
The matter has since been reported to the police and investigations have since commenced.One more photo below.
