Chukwuma Okpalauzuegbu Is Laid To Rest On Intended wedding Day  By Charity Ejiofor  A day that was meant to mark a joyful union has instead become one of deep sorrow for family, friends, and the Aguata community, following the sudden passing of Hon. Chukwuma Christopher Okpalauzuegbu, the councillor representating Amesi Ward. Hon. Okpalauzuegbu fondly known as Chuma, had been preparing to celebrate his wedding ceremony, an event filled with hope, promise and carefully laid plans. Loved ones, and sponsors, ready to stand beside him as he embark on a new chapter of life. In an unexpected and heart breaking turn of events, those dreams were cut short. POLICE ARREST ONE FOR ILLEGAL
POSSESSION OF FIREARM


Officers of lkorodu division of the Lagos State Police Command have arrested one Kabiru Garba .m. along
lgbogbo Ikorodu road.

The suspect was arrested at about 2300hrs on Friday
June 4, 2022 after he took to his heels upon sighting policemen on routine patrol.

After a through search of the suspect, a Beretta pistol was found in his possession. Preliminary investigation has
begun to unravel more details about the suspect, his
activities and source of the firearm. Suspect would be

arraigned in court at the conclusion of investigation.

The Lagos State Commissioner of Police, CP Abiodun
Alabi, fdc, has assured residents of Lagos State that

efforts are being redoubled towards eradicating all forms criminality in the state.
