 A Chester, Illinois man was recently arrested and charged for crimes against  at least one minor. When his mugshot was shared, with the charges included, several other young ladies came forward and told their stories.  Joshua Addison, 37-years-old, was arrested and charged on September 25th for incidents that happened approximately May, 13th of this year. He is currently in the Randolph County Jail.  When the news broke, several (at least 6) females shared screenshots and stories alleging Addison had sent them inappropriate messages. One individual shared a screenshot exhibiting that she confronted Addison and reminded him they were cousins. In that same exchange, the young lady asked if Addison knew her age.  Stop dating for too long, you can’t know your partner 100% – Solomon Buchi


Relationship therapist and life coach Solomon Buchi has disagreed with singer Simi over the discourse of cohabiting.

Countering Simi’s recent video about couples needing to live together before getting married, Buchi said no level of togetherness before marriage can provide 100% necessary and detailed information about one’s prospective partner. 

Buchi stated that it’s impossible for a person to know their partner too well before marriage and that no matter how long couples date, the reality of marriage tends to shock a lot of them.

He also disclosed that getting married has to involve a certain level of fear and uncertainty because life is very uncertain.

The acclaimed life coach stated that even in marriage, the person that you once knew can evolve and then you have to learn to experience them as new and different people all over again.

He concluded by advising intending couples to stop dating for too long because they want to get to know each other well because marriage would teach them things that they would still not be able to know even while dating.

According to him: “You can never know your partner too well before marriage. No matter how long you date, marriage will shock you. You’ll see sides to them that you never saw in your 10 years of dating. I understand trying to spend long years to know someone before marriage, but getting married requires a level of FAITH. 

“It requires a little bit of uncertainty; after all, is life itself not uncertain? Even in marriage, your partner evolves per stage. Who they were before childbirth is different from who they’ll be after childbirth. 

“Stop dating for too long because you want to know the person well; marriage will teach you how much you don’t know them, and why you should patiently study them. Please, just marry and face the dynamic reality of marriage. It’s a consistent learning curve.”
