 Allegedly, I have been missing- 2Baba Popular Nigerian musician Innocent Idibia, also known as 2Baba, has recently addressed his missing persons report to security agencies, made by his mother. Nigerian cuisine A few weeks ago, a statement was written to the Department of State Services (DSS) by 2Babas mother seeking help in locating the singer, her son, saying the family did not know his whereabouts. The singer recently spoke about the incidence at a comedy show despite being sighted in public multiple times since the missing persons report was filed. “Allegedly, I have been missing. Allegedly I have been kidnapped. So as we come Acapella show, this show is to generate money for the kidnappers to release me.” 2Baba said in a bid to make light of the situation.  STATEMENT FROM THE PRESIDENCY 

  • The President has received the memo from Chief Ajuri Ngelale, Special Adviser to the President on Media & Publicity and Official Spokesperson of the President as well as Special Presidential Envoy on Climate Action, informing of his decision to proceed on an indefinite leave of absence for personal and health reasons. The President accepts his reasons for the leave, fully understands them and sympathizes with the circumstances that have led to this seemingly difficult decision. While extending his heartfelt prayers and best wishes to Chief Ngelale and his family during this challenging moment, the President hopes for a speedy recovery and full restoration to health. The President notes his tireless efforts and dedication in serving the nation, and thanks him for the remarkable contributions hemade in his various capacities, especially in advancing national discourse and leading efforts on climate action and other key initiatives. The President wishes him wellin all his future endeavors. During this period, we kindly ask that the wish for privacy of Chief Ngelale and his family be respected.

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Baba Ijesha through his counsel Kayode Olabiran on Tuesday, told the appeal court that his client was set up and that he acted according to a script that he was invited to act on by his colleague. “The Appellant was set up.
