 Kebbi Govt Donates 10 Hilux Vehicles to Boost Security on Sokoto–Badagry Super Highway  The Kebbi State Government has handed over 10 brand-new Hilux vehicles to the Federal Ministry of Works to strengthen security for personnel working on the Sokoto–Badagry Super Highway project. The vehicles were formally received by the Minister of State for Works, Bello Muhammad Goronyo, who praised Kebbi State Governor, Dr. Nasiru Idris (Kauran Gwandu), for the donation. Goronyo described the gesture as a clear demonstration of the state government’s commitment to protecting workers and contractors on the strategic highway corridor. He explained that the vehicles will be deployed exclusively to security operatives providing cover for construction teams along the section of the super highway passing through Kebbi State. The Sokoto–Badagry Super Highway is a multi-state infrastructure project aimed at improving connectivity and economic activities across northern and southern Nigeria. More...

LASURA SEEKS COMMITMENT, COOPERATION AMONG STAFF


The General Manager of the Lagos State Urban Renewal Agency (LASURA), TPL. Animasahaun Oladimeji has charged staff to be diligent and committed to their duties in the new year.


Speaking during a special prayer session held on the first working day of the year, the General Manager called on all staff of the Agency to demonstrate unwavering commitment and cooperation in the discharge of their duties.


Animashaun said, "As we begin a new year, I urge you all to be diligent and committed to your duties, Let us work together to make LASURA a model Agency in the state, delivering excellent services to the people of Lagos."


He also encouraged the staff to be innovative and proactive in their approach to work, seeking ways to improve processes and deliver better results by striving for excellence and developing specialized skills in their respective fields. 


“By doing so, they will not only enhance their current performance but also position themselves for future career advancement and success”, the LASURA Boss added.


The prayer session attended by all staff, marked the beginning of a new year of service and dedication to the people of Lagos State.
