 YOBE STATE GOVERNMENT APPROVES ENROLLMENT OF RETIREES INTO THE STATES HEALTHCARE MANAGEMENT  Yobe state government has approved the enrollment of the state and local government retirees into the state  contributory  Healthcare Management Agency (YSCHMA) social equity programme, marking a significant milestone in the state's effort to strengthen social protection and expand access to quality healthcare .  Nasarawa Govt Donates ₦60m To Lafia Market Fire Victims

Nasarawa State Government has donated the sum of ₦60 million to the victims of recent fire outbreak that engulfed a section of Lafia Modern Market and destroyed properties worth millions of naira. 


Governor Abdullahi Sule announced the donation on Thursday at a meeting with a delegation of the state's Marketers' Association. 


The members of the Committee constituted to investigate the cause of the inferno were also part of the meeting held at the Government House, Lafia. 


Governor Sule who commiserated with the marketers over the devastating incident insisted that measures must be put in place to avoid reoccurrence. 


The Committee had earlier recommended the sum of ₦49 million to the State Government to support the fire victims.
