 Congo Senate adopts bill that could lead to new term for president Democratic Republic of Congo's Senate has adopted a bill to change the constitution which could open the door to a ‌third term in office for President Felix Tshisekedi, days after a protest against the bill turned violent in the capital Kinshasa. The bill paves the way for a referendum on a new constitution that ⁠would allow Tshisekedi — who is currently serving his second and final term — to serve a third term as if it were his first. Eighty-nine senators took part in the vote on Monday and all voted in favour of adopting the bill. Twenty senators did not participate. The bill must still be signed into law ‌by ⁠Tshisekedi. Opposition Senator Salomon Kalonda Della Idi said in a statement that the bill could "permanently Balkanize the country", Reuters reported.  Jelly Roll and Bunnie Xo Reportedly End Marriage After Nearly a Decade Together


Jelly Roll and Bunnie Xo have reportedly decided to end their marriage after nearly ten years together.


According to court documents filed in Tennessee and cited by TMZ, the country music star filed for divorce in May. 


The report described the separation as a mutual decision and noted that both parties are treating the matter as a private family issue.


Neither Jelly Roll nor Bunnie Xo has publicly addressed the reported filing.


The singer, whose real name is Jason Bradley DeFord, first met Bunnie in 2015 at one of his performances. Their relationship quickly grew, and the pair married the following year.


Throughout their marriage, Bunnie, born Alisa DeFord, became a visible part of Jelly Roll's personal and professional journey. She also embraced the role of stepmother to his two children, Bailee and Noah, from previous relationships.


Hours before reports of the divorce became public, Bunnie shared a video on Instagram in which she lip-synced to Nickelback's "How You Remind Me," a song widely associated with heartbreak and breakups.


She also reposted a screenshot of a text message that read, "come here, let me show you what love looks like," a post that quickly drew attention from followers after news of the reported filing surfaced.


The couple had recently appeared together at the 2026 Grammy Awards, where they walked the red carpet side by side.


Meanwhile, Jelly Roll remains focused on his music commitments and is currently performing alongside Post Malone on The BIG ASS Stadium Tour Part 2, which began earlier this month after a brief delay.


For now, the reported separation remains largely private, with neither party offering a public statement on the situation.
