 NAF COMPLETES LOCAL REASSEMBLY OF FIRST TWO H125 HELICOPTERS IN LAGOS The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has successfully completed the local reassembly of its first two H125 helicopters at NAF Base Ikeja, Lagos, following their delivery by Airbus. Conducted with the support of Airbus technical personnel, the exercise marks an important milestone in strengthening technical collaboration, facilitating knowledge transfer and enhancing NAF personnel’s practical exposure to the support and maintenance of modern rotary-wing platforms. The Chief of the Air Staff (CAS), Air Marshal Sunday Kelvin Aneke, described the development as a positive step towards strengthening the NAF’s technical and operational capacity. He stated, “Beyond acquiring modern platforms, we are committed to developing the knowledge, partnerships and support systems required to maximise their operational value and sustain them throughout their service life.” The H125 helicopters will provide valuable additional capability ...

 A Washington mother is behind bars after her downstairs neighbor called authorities when water was "pouring through his ceiling". Authorities discovered an 8-year-old girl, deceased, in an overflowing bathtub.


The Spokane Fire Department responded to an apartment complex on Sunday, September 20th, to the report of water pouring through a resident's ceiling. 


The ensuing investigation would lead to an upstairs apartment where authorities were shocked to find an 8-year-old girl floating in an overflowing bathtub. The girl was pronounced deceased on the scene. 


The girl's mother, 23-year-old Travionna Johnson, was contacted at work and admitted to leaving the young girl home alone at 7 a.m. that morning to go to work. She explained her daughter has the mentality of a 3 or 4 year old, as well as severe epilepsy. She also shared that her daughter is completely non-verbal. She said her daughter has always been fascinated with running water.


Travionna told investigators she knew it was wrong to leave her alone, but she needed to work. She said the young girl was asleep when she left at 7 a.m.


Travionna Johnson is being charged with manslaughter and abandonment of a dependent.  She had her bond set at $500,000 and has a trial date set for November.


Our thoughts are with everyone who loved the 8-year-old little girl, gone far too soon.
