 Anambra Govt Warns Against Purchase of Encroached Land at Trans-Nkissi By MaryAnn Chukwuma The Anambra State Ministry of Lands has warned members of the public against purchasing plots at TransNkissi Phase 1, behind the Federal Government Girls College, Onitsha, from persons claiming ownership on behalf of the Umuosodi family of Onitsha. The warning was contained in a public notice dated Sept. 28, 2026, with Ref. No. PS/ML/2026/CR/VOL.II/028 and signed by the Permanent Secretary, Mrs Nkeiru Mokwe, for the Commissioner. According to the notice, the Ministry became aware that persons alleged to be members of the Umuosodi family had invaded and commenced clearing portions of the land with the intention of selling them to unsuspecting members of the public. It said compensatory plots had been allocated to the family and other families in Onitsha before the current administration. EFCC Arraigns Ex-Anambra Gov. Obiano for Alleged N4bn Fraud   The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC on Wednesday, January 24, 2024  arraigned a former governor of Anambra State, Willie Obiano before Justice Inyang Edem Ekwo of the Federal High Court sitting in Abuja. He was arraigned on nine- count charges bordering on money laundering, diversion of funds, stealing and corruption to the tune of N4billion.   Count one of the charge reads: “That you, Chief Willie Maduabuchi Obiano, whilst being the Executive Governor of Anambra State of Nigeria between March 2014 - March 2022, sometime between the 16th February, 2018 and 9th March, 2018 in Abuja, within the jurisdiction of this Honorable Court, did make cash transaction through a non-financial institution by instructing one Uzuegbuna Okagbue, your then Chief Protocol Officer / Deputy Chief of Staff to transfer the aggregate sum of N223,371,000 (Two Hundred and Twenty Three Million, Three Hundred and Seventy One...

LAGOS TASKFORCE IMPOUNDS 355 MOTORCYCLES IN SPECIAL OPERATION … Vows to Eradicate Menace of Okada Operators on Banned Routes The Lagos State Taskforce has lived up to the State Government’s expectation of zero tolerance to the menace of okada in the Metropolis by carrying out a special operation where 355 bikes popularly known as okada were impounded for operational infractions.  The unique exercise which was led by the Chairman of the Agency, CSP Shola Jejeloye took place in various locations across the city and lasted over five hours due to the rigorous tactical methodology required to execute it. The Governor of Ondo State, Hon. Lucky Aiyedatiwa, has dissolved the State Executive Council, with immediate effect All members of the Cabinet are to immediately hand over to the Permanent Secretaries or the most senior administrative officers in their respective offices. Also, all Senior Special Assistants (SSAs) and Special Assistants (SAs) are relieved of their duties, with immediate effect.  All the affected officials are directed to hand over all government properties in their possession.

Some people should learn to pay attention to the laws of the land, Nigeria my country say they don't want anything to do with LGBTQ,  Gay or lesbianism and there is even a jail term attached to it, but some people in these video they are not hearing, Nigerian police ,oyah over to you. A video of members of the LGBTQ community in Nigeria openly discussing their sexuality has caused an uproar on social media.    In the video, the members openly expressed their sexual preferences and how members of the society perceived them.   ‘Don’t be faithful until you’re married’ – Tacha tells single ladies Controversial reality TV star and media personality Natacha Anita Akide, popularly known as Tacha, has urged women in relationships not to be faithful to their partners until they are engaged or married. According to her, there is no oath in a relationship that binds women to being faithful. She maintained that women in relationships are single until they are married. Speaking in the latest episode of the Spill With Phyna podcast, Tacha said: “You have to be in a relationship and not be faithful until you probably get a ring or until you’re getting married, where you have to swear an oath. “Because which oath did you swear in a relationship that you are faithful? You are single until you are married.”

Miyetti Allah’s president not in our custody — DSS The Department of State Services (DSS) has denied reports that Bello Bodejo, president of Miyetti Allah Kautal Hore, is in its custody. Spokesman of the DSS, Peter Afunanya, made the clarification to newsmen on Tuesday evening. “He’s not with the DSS,” Afunanya said. Earlier on Tuesday, reports went rife that Bodejo was arrested by the DSS at the Miyetti Allah’s office in Karu LGA of Nasarawa state, on account of the unveiling of a vigilante group. The Fulani socio-cultural organisation had last week unveiled a vigilante group in Nasarawa. He said the vigilante group is made up of 1,144 Fulani youths selected from various communities in the 13 LGAs of the state. Speaking, Bodejo had said the “Nomad vigilante group” would assist security agencies in combatting criminal activities in the north-central state.
