 A Chester, Illinois man was recently arrested and charged for crimes against  at least one minor. When his mugshot was shared, with the charges included, several other young ladies came forward and told their stories.  Joshua Addison, 37-years-old, was arrested and charged on September 25th for incidents that happened approximately May, 13th of this year. He is currently in the Randolph County Jail.  When the news broke, several (at least 6) females shared screenshots and stories alleging Addison had sent them inappropriate messages. One individual shared a screenshot exhibiting that she confronted Addison and reminded him they were cousins. In that same exchange, the young lady asked if Addison knew her age.  DRC clinches victory over Egypt on penalties, soars into AFCON quarter final The Democratic Republic of Congo ended a 34 minute deadlock that ensued after the initial 90 minutes of playing, and edged out the Pharaohs of Egypt from the ongoing African Cup of Nations with 8-7 score line . DRC  were the first to score through a strike by  Elia Meschack but the Pharaohs equalised in the 46th minute goal via a penalty kick by Mostafa Mohamed. The regular time of the pulsating match ended with a 1-1 score line. As the game dragged into extra time, none of the teams was able to show supremacy. The game progressed to the level of penalty shootout. And DRC emerged victorious by  beating Egypt 8-7. DRC will play their quarter final match against Guinea on Friday.

 Lil Frosh hit me countless times, ex-girlfriend Cute Gemini opens up Singer Lil Frosh’s ex-girlfriend, Cute Gemini, has countered claims he didn’t abuse her physically.  Cute Gemini insisted with proof that she went through domestic violence, saying the singer’s claim is untrue.  CBN Injects Fresh $500m Into Forex Market The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has committed $500 million into the forex market. Hakama Sidi-Ali, Acting Director of the Corporate Communications Department at the CBN, disclosed this in a statement on Monday. Sidi-Ali reiterated the bank’s commitment to “settling all legitimate foreign exchange backlogs within a short time frame.” She also assured Nigerians that the CBN was implementing a comprehensive strategy to improve liquidity in the Nigerian foreign exchange markets in the short, medium, and long term.  Fresh Worry For Tinubu’s Minister As Lawyers Drag Her To Court Over NYSC Violation The Nigerian Bar Association Section on Public Interest and Development Law (NBA-SPIDEL) has filed a lawsuit against the Minister of Art, Culture and the Creative Economy, Hannatu Musawa. Recall that in August 2023, the public was hit with the news of Musawa serving as a National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) member. The Human Rights Writers Association of Nigeria (HURIWA) had argued that she could not be the minister at the same time she was serving. HURIWA alleged that Musawa abandoned her NYSC in Ebonyi State some years but later showed interest in finishing it up during which she was mobilised in 2023 and posted to a law firm in Abuja.
