 Russia launches massive drone and missile barrage on Ukraine, killing at least 18 civilians and striking Kyiv and multiple cities  Russia carried out a large-scale overnight assault on Ukraine, launching hundreds of drones and dozens of missiles that killed at least 18 civilians and wounded more than 100 others across multiple cities, officials said Tuesday. The strikes hit Kyiv, Dnipro and other regions, with emergency crews working through destroyed residential buildings where some victims were trapped under rubble. In Dnipro, rescuers recovered the bodies of a 3-year-old child and a mother and her 8-year-old son, while officials reported 12 deaths in the city and six in Kyiv. The bombardment stretched from night into daylight, with explosions reported across wide areas of the country. THE U.S GOVT,TO GRANT 18MONTHS STAY,& WORK PERMITS TO PEOPLE FROM EBOLA HIT COUNTRIES FROM TODAY.

           According to the United States Government,the Department of Homeland Security will grant temporary protection status to people from the three West African countries most affected by Ebola who are currently residing in the United States.People from Liberia,Guinea and Sierra Leone in the United States as of today thursday may apply for protection from deportation,as well as for work permits,for 18 months.After 18 months,the secretary of Homeland security will assess whether the protection should be extended,based on the level of the Ebola epidemic in West Africa.In order to prevent a mass migration from West Africa to the United States,nationals from these countries who arrived after thursday will not be eligible for protected status.U.S citizenship and immigration services officials estimate that 8,000 people will be eligible to apply.One more picture below.
