 KADIRS Warns Residents Against Fake Revenue Collectors, Introduces E-Demand Notice As Sole Payment Authorization The Kaduna State Internal Revenue Service (KADIRS) has cautioned taxpayers and residents of Kaduna State against making revenue payments without first obtaining an official E-Demand Notice (Pay Advice), warning that fraudsters may exploit outdated payment processes to defraud the public. In a public announcement issued on Thursday, KADIRS said the move forms part of its ongoing efforts to automate revenue collection and enhance transparency across the state.  The agency disclosed that manual demand notices previously used for Local Government revenue collection have been phased out and are no longer recognized. According to KADIRS, the E-Demand Notice (Pay Advice) has officially replaced the former Local Government Harmonized Demand Notice and is now the only valid document for on-the-spot taxpayer assessment through the state's Central Billing System. 18 PEOPLE DIED TODAY,AFTER A FIRE OUTBREAK IN A REFUGEE CAMP IN SOUTHERN ALGERIA.

                      Today tuesday it was reported that at least 18 people died and 37 others were injured when a fire broke out at a camp for African refugees in Southern Algeria.The victms of the fire were among 650 Africans being taken in at the camp in the Ourgla province,about 500 km {310 miles} from the capital Algiers.Algeria has started repatriating hundreds of refugees from Niger under an agreement reached with their government.One of their state media said an investigation by security services was still underway to determine causes behind the incident.No details were immediately available about the nationalities of the victims.One more photo below.
