 Russia launches massive drone and missile barrage on Ukraine, killing at least 18 civilians and striking Kyiv and multiple cities  Russia carried out a large-scale overnight assault on Ukraine, launching hundreds of drones and dozens of missiles that killed at least 18 civilians and wounded more than 100 others across multiple cities, officials said Tuesday. The strikes hit Kyiv, Dnipro and other regions, with emergency crews working through destroyed residential buildings where some victims were trapped under rubble. In Dnipro, rescuers recovered the bodies of a 3-year-old child and a mother and her 8-year-old son, while officials reported 12 deaths in the city and six in Kyiv. The bombardment stretched from night into daylight, with explosions reported across wide areas of the country. Ebenezer and Olugbenga Isaiah} before Justice M.B Idris of the Federal High Court of Lagos State,Ikoyi on a 23 count charge bordering on concealing proceeds of crime,retaining the proceeds of crime and failing to furnish information.The first defendant,Waripamo-Owei Emmanuel Dudafa,the Senior Special Assistant of domestic/household and social events to the former President Goodluck Jonathan was alleged to have laundered ill gotten wealth to the tune of over N1.667,162,800.00 {One billion,six hundred and sixty seven million,one hundred and sixty two thousand,eight hundred Naira} while in office,through Ebiwise Resources Limited,Avalon Global Property Development Company Limited,Rotato Inter-Link Services Ltd accounts with the assistance of the second defendant,Iwejuo Joseph Nna,the account officer of the said accounts and presently a branch manager of a new generation bank.More photos below.
