Refreshing your memory, Baba Ijesha was arrested and sentenced to 5 years imprisonment for raping a minor, who is the adopted daughter of comedian Princess. Giving an update on the case in a recent interview, he said Baba Ijesha’s appeal process is still ongoing in court. He claimed that there was no evidence that he slept with the hole; hence, the judge didn’t sentence him to life imprisonment. Yomi stated that Princess called Baba Ijesha to shoot a skit, and the girl also made a similar statement in court.                        The trial of Azibaola Robert,a cousin to former President Goodluck Jonathan,was stalled today thursday,October 6,2016 as the PW2,Olabode Farinuola was unavoidably absent in court to continue his testimony.Azibaola,his wife,Stella and their company,One Plus Holdings,are standing trial on a 7-count charge of money laundering,criminal breach of trust and corruption brought againt them by the EFCC,before Justice Nnamdi O Dimgba of the Federal High Cort sitting in Maitama,Abuja.The defendants were alleged to have diverted $40million {forty million US dollars} purportedly meant for the supply of Tactical Communication Kits for Special Forces which was transferred from the Account of the Office of the National Security Adviser,ONSA,with the Central Bank of Nigeria to the domiciliary account of their company,On Plus Holdings.One more photo below.

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Namtira Bwala has threatened to file a lawsuit against the school authorities if her abusers are not punished within 48 hours. In a letter drafted by her lawyers, Deji Adeyanju and Co, Namtira asked the school authorities to immediately investigate and pronounce the stiffest punishments in the student’s rule book on Ms.Maryam Hassan, Miss Faliya, and nine other students who bullied her.
