 Anambra Govt Warns Against Purchase of Encroached Land at Trans-Nkissi By MaryAnn Chukwuma The Anambra State Ministry of Lands has warned members of the public against purchasing plots at TransNkissi Phase 1, behind the Federal Government Girls College, Onitsha, from persons claiming ownership on behalf of the Umuosodi family of Onitsha. The warning was contained in a public notice dated Sept. 28, 2026, with Ref. No. PS/ML/2026/CR/VOL.II/028 and signed by the Permanent Secretary, Mrs Nkeiru Mokwe, for the Commissioner. According to the notice, the Ministry became aware that persons alleged to be members of the Umuosodi family had invaded and commenced clearing portions of the land with the intention of selling them to unsuspecting members of the public. It said compensatory plots had been allocated to the family and other families in Onitsha before the current administration. LAGOS TASK FORCE RESCUES FOUR MONTH OLD BABY DUMPED AT OSHODI+ARRESTED THE MOTHER OF THE BABY.{READ}.

No automatic alt text available.                        The officers of the Lagos State Task Force have rescued a four-month old baby wrapped inside a bag and dumped under the bridge in Oshodi,just as the suspected mother was arrested while trying to escape from the area.
Speaking on the incident,the Chairman of the State Task Force,SP Olayinka Egbeyemi disclosed that while on monitoring duty at Oshodi,the enforcement team of the Agency apprehended the suspected mother and rescued the abandoned baby boy,who was neatly packed inside a bag.
On interrogation,the alleged Mother,Miss Timilehin Adeshina,18yrs,confessed that she dumped the baby because she could no longer take care of him as none of her family members was willing to accommodate her with the baby.According to her,''My mother,Mrs Zabela Adeshina from Delta State,sent me out because I gave birth and could not identify the man who impregnated me as different men slept with me.I also dropped out of school while in JSS II at Lovely School,Ejigbo,Lagos because of lack of funds''.
Egbeyemi confirmed that the State Commissioner of Police,Mr Satai Owoseni,has directed that both the rescued baby and the mother be transferred to the Social Welfare Department of the Lagos State Ministry of Youths and Social Development.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
