 You Are Heaven Bound - Franklin Graham Tells Trump in Letter Shared on Palm  Donald Trump has shared a personal letter from evangelist Franklin Graham, saying it offers reassurance about his spiritual future and his path to heaven. The former president posted the letter on Truth Social on March 29 to mark Palm Sunday, the Christian holy day observed one week before Easter.  The note, dated October 15, 2025, was sent after Trump helped broker a ceasefire agreement between Israel and Hamas and the return of hostages. In the letter, Graham, a longtime ally and son of the late preacher Billy Graham, praised Trump’s role in the breakthrough. “Congratulations! The cease-fire between Israel and Hamas and the hostages being returned home are incredible accomplishments. Your leadership is historic,” Graham wrote.  “This is an answer to much prayer. PRESIDENT BUHARI APPOINTS SUBSTANTIVE DIRECTOR GENERAL FOR NATIONAL INTELLIGENCE AGENCY TODAY.

      President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the appointment of a substantive Director General for the National Intelligence Agency (NIA).
The new Director General is Ahmed Rufai Abubakar, a retired career Foreign Service officer, who till his appointment served as Senior Special Assistant to the President (SSAP) on Foreign Affairs/International Relations.
Abubakar had extensive experience working with the United Nations in peace support operations, mediation process, preventive diplomacy and good offices, as well as the promotion of good governance and respect for the rule of law and human rights.
He also briefly served as Senior Adviser at the Multinational Joint Task Force (MNJTF), with headquarters in Ndjamena, Chad, before his appointment as SSAP.
Abubakar holds a B.A degree in French Language and Literature, and an M.A degree in Francophone Maghrebian Literature, both from Bayero University, Kano. He is also fluent in English and Arabic.
The appointment takes immediate effect

 How Suspected Phone Snatchers Killed Army Lieutenant In Kaduna  An army officer identified as Lieutenant IM Abubakar has reportedly been hacked to death by a gang that specialises in phone snatching and other crimes. The deceased was killed in the Unguwan Sarki area of Kaduna metropolis during the week. A popular counter-insurgency expert and security analyst in Lake Chad, Zagazola Makama disclosed this in a Twitter post. Makama described Abubakar as a talented officer.  He said, “Lt IM Abubakar(Isa) A Young Talented Army Officer Was Killed By Phone Snatchers on His Way Home In Unguwan Sarki, Kaduna. May his soul rest in peace.”
