 MISSING KANSHIO LADY REAPPEARS, FAMILY RAISES ALARM OVER CONFLICTING STORIES  11th January, 2026      The family of a young woman earlier reported missing in Kanshio, Makurdi, Benue State, has raised fresh concerns after she contacted them to say she was not missing and had travelled to Port Harcourt for work. A family source told Benue Info-pedia, that the woman reached out a day after alerts about her disappearance circulated on social media, urging relatives to stop searching for her and to discontinue further posts about the matter. However, the explanation has triggered suspicion within the family, following what they described as inconsistent details surrounding her movements. According to the source, the woman had travelled to Gboko during the Christmas period to stay with her elder sister, where she reportedly met a man and began interacting with him. UPDATE ON MISSING NAF ALPHA JET AIRCRAFT.{PHOTO}.#PRESS RELEASE.

Intelligence report gathered by the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) indicates that the Alpha Jet aircraft (NAF475) that went off the radar with 2 crew members on board on 31 March 2021 might have crashed.
The cause of the crash as well as the whereabouts of the 2 pilots remain unknown. The pilots are Flight Lieutenant John Abolarinwa and Flight Lieutenant Ebiakpo Chapele.
Extensive search and rescue efforts are still ongoing by NAF surveillance aircraft as well as NAF Special Forces and Nigerian Army troops on ground.
At this point, the NAF is not ruling out anything regarding the incident. It however remains hopeful that the crew would soon be found and rescued.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”. He said: “Our orders for four attack helicopters from the United States of America will take some time to arrive.
