 Anambra Govt Warns Against Purchase of Encroached Land at Trans-Nkissi By MaryAnn Chukwuma The Anambra State Ministry of Lands has warned members of the public against purchasing plots at TransNkissi Phase 1, behind the Federal Government Girls College, Onitsha, from persons claiming ownership on behalf of the Umuosodi family of Onitsha. The warning was contained in a public notice dated Sept. 28, 2026, with Ref. No. PS/ML/2026/CR/VOL.II/028 and signed by the Permanent Secretary, Mrs Nkeiru Mokwe, for the Commissioner. According to the notice, the Ministry became aware that persons alleged to be members of the Umuosodi family had invaded and commenced clearing portions of the land with the intention of selling them to unsuspecting members of the public. It said compensatory plots had been allocated to the family and other families in Onitsha before the current administration. NAPTIP in collaboration with Women And Social Welfare Commissioner Obinabo, Track and Apprehends a 21 Year Old Sexual Offender in Anambra.

Following a rape incident that occurred last year involving one Mr Chinedu Eziuzo, a native of Adazi Enu, 21years old who took advantage of his younger sister, 13years old at their hometown in Adazi-Enu, the National Agency For Prohibition of Trafficking Persons with the help of ministry of women and social welfare and Violence Against Persons, Prohibition Implementation tracked and captured Chinedu Eziuzo 

Chinedu is said to have been involved in notorious activities around their neighborhood which included attempting to rape a young girl at Neni but was arrested by the vigilante group and subsequently released because of his father's plea, flogging and beating women/mothers, taking of Indian hemp,  stealing to mention but a few. 

It is worthy of note that anytime he gets apprehended the parents won't hesitate to bail him but after this particular incident the issue was made public by some of his family members and since then has been at large.

His victim who was treated at Paul Iloghalu hospital Adazi-Enu is said to be having some medical complications even after treatments. 

When apprehended and brought to Àwka, Hon. Ify Obinabo cautioned parents against aiding and abating crimes. She frowned at the evil mated on the innocent girl, assuring that justice will take its full course.

Hon. Obinabo further commended NAPTIP for their efforts and support in apprehending the perpetuators.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
