 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville. APGA Begins Distribution of Certificates of Return To Candidates



The All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA has commenced distribution of Certificates of return to its candidates for National Assembly.

The distribution happening at the National Secretariat of the party in Abuja saw elated candidates from different parts of the country coming to pick up their certificates. 

In an Interview with the ABS, some of the candidates including Honourable Chris Azubogu, who is vying for the Anambra South Senatorial Seat, Sir Eric Eze vying to represent Orumba North and South in the Federal House of Representatives, Alex Ikwueche vying for Aba North and South Federal Constituency among others harped on the need for the electorate to choose the candidate that will represent them well.

They reminded them that voting for the highest bidder would be akin to mortgaging their future and that of their children.

The distribution of Certificates of return which started yesterday, continues today and date for that of Governorship and House of Assembly candidates will follow at a later date.
