 Russia launches massive drone and missile barrage on Ukraine, killing at least 18 civilians and striking Kyiv and multiple cities  Russia carried out a large-scale overnight assault on Ukraine, launching hundreds of drones and dozens of missiles that killed at least 18 civilians and wounded more than 100 others across multiple cities, officials said Tuesday. The strikes hit Kyiv, Dnipro and other regions, with emergency crews working through destroyed residential buildings where some victims were trapped under rubble. In Dnipro, rescuers recovered the bodies of a 3-year-old child and a mother and her 8-year-old son, while officials reported 12 deaths in the city and six in Kyiv. The bombardment stretched from night into daylight, with explosions reported across wide areas of the country. Governor Soludo Changes Ngonadi As Commissioner for Trade And Commerce

The Governor of Anambra State, Professor Chukwuma Charles Soludo, CFR has changed the Commissioner for Trade and Commerce, Dr. Obinna Ngonadi to Commissioner for Industry.

The Governor yesterday at the Executive Council Meeting of State Government, approved the renaming of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry to Ministry of Industry.

The Commissioner for Commerce and Industry, Dr. Ngonadi will henceforth be addressed as the Commissioner for Industry.

The Trade and Commerce aspect of the Ministry will, until further notice, be domiciled under the Governor's Office. By implication, all activities relating to trade and commerce should be channeled to the Governor's Office. 

Recall that there has been series of allegations against the Hon. Ngonadi where some market Leaders wrote countless petitions against the Commissioner.

While some claimed he took bride to interfere in the leadership issues of some markets, others claimed he is on a vendetta move to demolish some shops owned by his enemies and those who doesn't agree with him.

The recent move by the Governor to remove him from Trade and Commerce Ministry cannot be unconnected to all the stories of his handling of the previous office.
