 Zango Kataf, Jaba PDP Committees Hold Reconciliation Meeting Ahead Of 2027 Elections The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Working Committees in Zango Kataf and Jaba Local Government Areas have held a strategic reconciliation meeting aimed at strengthening party unity and positioning the party for success in the 2027 general elections. The meeting, held on Friday, July 31, 2026, in Jaba Local Government Area, was jointly chaired by the PDP Chairmen of Jaba and Zango Kataf LGAs, Sabastine David Bijiri and Martins Markus Koyah. It brought together party executives, stakeholders, ward officials, elders, youth and women leaders, as well as members from both local government areas. Speaking at the meeting, the Zango Kataf PDP Chairman commended party leaders and members for supporting the zoning of the party’s House of Representatives ticket to Zango Kataf Local Government Area. Governor Soludo Changes Ngonadi As Commissioner for Trade And Commerce

The Governor of Anambra State, Professor Chukwuma Charles Soludo, CFR has changed the Commissioner for Trade and Commerce, Dr. Obinna Ngonadi to Commissioner for Industry.

The Governor yesterday at the Executive Council Meeting of State Government, approved the renaming of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry to Ministry of Industry.

The Commissioner for Commerce and Industry, Dr. Ngonadi will henceforth be addressed as the Commissioner for Industry.

The Trade and Commerce aspect of the Ministry will, until further notice, be domiciled under the Governor's Office. By implication, all activities relating to trade and commerce should be channeled to the Governor's Office. 

Recall that there has been series of allegations against the Hon. Ngonadi where some market Leaders wrote countless petitions against the Commissioner.

While some claimed he took bride to interfere in the leadership issues of some markets, others claimed he is on a vendetta move to demolish some shops owned by his enemies and those who doesn't agree with him.

The recent move by the Governor to remove him from Trade and Commerce Ministry cannot be unconnected to all the stories of his handling of the previous office.
