 LASG PRESENTS STAFF OF OFFICE TO NEW ONIȘẸ OF ISE KINGDOM The Lagos State Government has presented the Staff of Office and Instrument of Appointment to Prince Ibrahim Adebowale Saliu, as His Royal Majesty, Alaiyeluwa Oba Ibrahim Adebowale Saliu, the Onise of Ise Kingdom in Lekki Local Government Area. The presentation was performed on Friday, August 21, 2026, by the Special Adviser to the Governor on Rural Development, Dr. Nurudeen Yekinni Agbaje, alongside the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Local Government, Chieftaincy Affairs and Rural Development, Mrs. Kikelomo Bolarinwa, with the approval of the Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu and the Lagos State Executive Council, following the demise of the late Oba Ganiu Adebowale Adegbesan, Onise of Ise Kingdom. Governor Soludo Changes Ngonadi As Commissioner for Trade And Commerce

The Governor of Anambra State, Professor Chukwuma Charles Soludo, CFR has changed the Commissioner for Trade and Commerce, Dr. Obinna Ngonadi to Commissioner for Industry.

The Governor yesterday at the Executive Council Meeting of State Government, approved the renaming of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry to Ministry of Industry.

The Commissioner for Commerce and Industry, Dr. Ngonadi will henceforth be addressed as the Commissioner for Industry.

The Trade and Commerce aspect of the Ministry will, until further notice, be domiciled under the Governor's Office. By implication, all activities relating to trade and commerce should be channeled to the Governor's Office. 

Recall that there has been series of allegations against the Hon. Ngonadi where some market Leaders wrote countless petitions against the Commissioner.

While some claimed he took bride to interfere in the leadership issues of some markets, others claimed he is on a vendetta move to demolish some shops owned by his enemies and those who doesn't agree with him.

The recent move by the Governor to remove him from Trade and Commerce Ministry cannot be unconnected to all the stories of his handling of the previous office.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
