 I Don’t Wish It On You – Genevieve Nnaji Knocks Trolls Age-shaming Her Veteran Nollywood actress Genevieve Nnaji has responded to social media trolls who made age-shaming comments about her. According to Naija News, a user on X reacted to Genevieve's post on April 3, 2025, stating that she couldn't escape aging and was getting older. The comment read, “You really cannot cheat nature. My fine wine is finally growing old.” In her reply, Genevieve pointed out that things could be worse; she could age significantly and eventually die if she were fortunate. She wrote, “It gets worse, bro. I’ll get so old I’ll die. If I’m lucky.” Another troll referred to her as “mummy,” suggesting she was old, but Genevieve quickly dismissed the comment, saying she wouldn’t wish old age on him. Man City Player Riyad Mahrez Joins Al-Ahli In £30m Deal


Saudi Arabia club, Al-Ahli has signed Manchester City player, Riyad Mahrez for £30 million as the Algeria national team captain completes his transfer to the Saudi Pro League side.


The 32-year-old, who had two years left on his contract, is the latest big-name recruit by the SPL, BBC reported on Friday.


In 2018, City paid £60m for Mahrez and he has scored 15 goals in 47 games in the Blues' Treble-winning campaign last season.


He said, "To play for Manchester City has been an honour and privilege. I came to City to win trophies and enjoy my football.


"I achieved all that and so much more and made a lifetime of wonderful memories. Manchester City will forever be a huge and happy part of my life."


Mahrez has helped City win 10 major honours during five seasons with the club but didn't play in the FA Cup and Champions League finals.

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Baba Ijesha through his counsel Kayode Olabiran on Tuesday, told the appeal court that his client was set up and that he acted according to a script that he was invited to act on by his colleague. “The Appellant was set up.
