 Anambra Govt Warns Against Purchase of Encroached Land at Trans-Nkissi By MaryAnn Chukwuma The Anambra State Ministry of Lands has warned members of the public against purchasing plots at TransNkissi Phase 1, behind the Federal Government Girls College, Onitsha, from persons claiming ownership on behalf of the Umuosodi family of Onitsha. The warning was contained in a public notice dated Sept. 28, 2026, with Ref. No. PS/ML/2026/CR/VOL.II/028 and signed by the Permanent Secretary, Mrs Nkeiru Mokwe, for the Commissioner. According to the notice, the Ministry became aware that persons alleged to be members of the Umuosodi family had invaded and commenced clearing portions of the land with the intention of selling them to unsuspecting members of the public. It said compensatory plots had been allocated to the family and other families in Onitsha before the current administration. 14-YEAR-OLD BOY SADLY WATCHES HIS FATHER DROWN 3 WEEKS AFTER LOSING HIS MOTHER TO CANCER. (PHOTO).

 14-year-old boy sadly watches his father drown 3 weeks after losing his mother to cancer.


14- year-old David "Xavier" Lowery was on a trip with his father Kenneth Lowery in Florida this week. The trip was supposed to be a vacation from the dark cloud he had been living under the past few months watching his mother bravely fight her cancer to the very end.


However, only more heartache was waiting for this truly unfortunate young man.


Xavier's maternal grandmother, Kelly Bezayiff, states that she got a phone call from Xavier on Wednesday she will never forget, "He called his big brother and told him he was standing there and thought that his daddy had drowned."


She went on to say, "He, my grandson, they went out I guess on a boat. They went down. He knew there were problems and he tried to get his dad back up and he couldn’t get him back up. So, his dad pushed him up towards the top and Xander came up as fast as he could, and when he came up, he looked back and his dad wasn’t there.” 


Jupiter Florida police and Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission searched for the body in the Captain Mike's Reef area. Eventually, the body of Kenneth Lowery was recovered.


This is such an unbelievable tragedy for this young man to go through and our thoughts and prayers go out to him and his family. We wish the best for this young man and we will remember that his father's final action was saving his son's life on a trip to help his son during his grief.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
