 Anambra Govt Warns Against Purchase of Encroached Land at Trans-Nkissi By MaryAnn Chukwuma The Anambra State Ministry of Lands has warned members of the public against purchasing plots at TransNkissi Phase 1, behind the Federal Government Girls College, Onitsha, from persons claiming ownership on behalf of the Umuosodi family of Onitsha. The warning was contained in a public notice dated Sept. 28, 2026, with Ref. No. PS/ML/2026/CR/VOL.II/028 and signed by the Permanent Secretary, Mrs Nkeiru Mokwe, for the Commissioner. According to the notice, the Ministry became aware that persons alleged to be members of the Umuosodi family had invaded and commenced clearing portions of the land with the intention of selling them to unsuspecting members of the public. It said compensatory plots had been allocated to the family and other families in Onitsha before the current administration.  President Paul Biya Celebrates 42 Years in Power Today, November 6✊🇨🇲👑


Paul Biya, now 91, has been president of Cameroon for 42 years, making him the world’s longest-serving leader. His rule, which started on November 6, 1982, has experienced a firm grip on power, backed by loyal officials in key roles. Originally a prime minister, he became Cameroon’s second head of state after independence from France in 1960.


Over the years, he has been nicknamed “Popol” and “The Sphinx” for his elusive, strategic style. Despite economic challenges and social issues, he has maintained control with allies in top positions, from the National Assembly to the military.


In 2018, he won a seventh term, though the election faced criticism for low turnout and accusations of fraud. Opposition figures like Maurice Kamto, who contested the results, faced imprisonment. 


Cameroon’s Anglophone regions have also seen turmoil. Calls for more regional autonomy turned into a movement for independence, leading to violent clashes that have displaced over a million people.


Paul Biya rarely appears in public, preferring carefully edited TV addresses. He often travels abroad, with reports revealing millions spent on overseas trips. His personal life is also noted for his marriage to Chantal Biya, known for her striking hairstyles, nearly 40 years his junior.


However, despite numerous controversy, Biya remains in power, navigating a complex political landscape with little visible change.


Rumours say he has plans for the next presidential elections which will take place in 2025.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
