 LASG PRESENTS STAFF OF OFFICE TO NEW ONIȘẸ OF ISE KINGDOM The Lagos State Government has presented the Staff of Office and Instrument of Appointment to Prince Ibrahim Adebowale Saliu, as His Royal Majesty, Alaiyeluwa Oba Ibrahim Adebowale Saliu, the Onise of Ise Kingdom in Lekki Local Government Area. The presentation was performed on Friday, August 21, 2026, by the Special Adviser to the Governor on Rural Development, Dr. Nurudeen Yekinni Agbaje, alongside the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Local Government, Chieftaincy Affairs and Rural Development, Mrs. Kikelomo Bolarinwa, with the approval of the Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu and the Lagos State Executive Council, following the demise of the late Oba Ganiu Adebowale Adegbesan, Onise of Ise Kingdom.  Benue Links Condemns Bus Attack, Mourns Victims


State-owned transport company, Benue Links Nigeria Ltd, has strongly condemned Thursday’s deadly attack on one of its buses by suspected Fulani herdsmen near Otukpo Burnt Bricks.


In a statement issued Friday by the company’s Information Officer, Ehi Daniel, the firm confirmed that the 18-seater bus, en route Makurdi to Otukpo, was ambushed, resulting in the deaths of the driver, Mr. Samuel Agege, and a front-seat passenger.


Three passengers reportedly escaped the abduction attempt, while another had disembarked earlier in Taraku.


The company expressed condolences to the bereaved families and pledged continued collaboration with security agencies to ensure the safe rescue of the abducted victims. It also commended the swift response of law enforcement and expressed confidence in their efforts.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
