Oasis fan dies after fall during concert at Wembley Stadium in London
A man died after falling at London’s Wembley Stadium during an Oasis concert on Saturday night, officials confirmed.
A spokesperson for Wembley Stadium said that medics, the London Ambulance Service, and police responded to a concertgoer found with injuries consistent with a fall. Despite their efforts, the fan sadly passed away. The statement expressed condolences to the victim’s family, who have been informed and are receiving support from specially trained officers. Authorities have asked anyone who witnessed the incident to come forward. The concert continued as planned.
The Metropolitan Police identified the victim as a man in his 40s. They noted the stadium was crowded, and many people likely saw the incident or may have recorded it on their phones.
