  “₦1,000 for just 8 tomatoes” — Man fumes over rising food prices, says Nigerians are suffering under hardship A Nigerian man has gone viral after lamenting the rising cost of food, revealing that he bought just eight tomatoes for ₦1,000 at a market in Yaba. In a video shared online, he questioned how families, especially large households, are expected to survive amid rising food prices, stressing that basic ingredients like tomatoes, pepper and onions have become increasingly difficult for many to afford. The visibly angry man also criticised the state of the country, expressing frustration over hardship, insecurity and the rising cost of living in Nigeria. Watch video below.

‎NAF STRIKES HOSTILE ELEMENTS IN MULTIPLE OPERATIONS IN KWARA

‎The Nigerian Air Force Air Component, Operation  Fansan  Yamma  Sect 3,  conducted multiple coordinated missions across Kakihun, Oke-ode, Babanla and surrounding areas. 

‎A Statement by the Director of Public Relations and Information Air Commodore Ehimen Ejodame indicates that reconnaissance and close air support operations were executed to deter threats, while hostile elements sighted east of Babanla were decisively engaged. 

‎Concurrent surveillance flights also covered key settlements and military positions, gathering critical intelligence to support ground forces.

‎These missions reaffirm NAF’s commitment to protecting troops and civilians, maintaining air superiority, and sustaining pressure on hostile actors. 

‎The Nigerian Airforce assures Nigerians of its unwavering resolve to defend the nation’s territorial integrity and safeguard communities against threats.
