 Dutch referee Rob Dieperink dies weeks after removal from World Cup officiating list Dutch referee Rob Dieperink has died at the age of 38, weeks after FIFA removed him from its list of officials for the World Cup. The Dutch Football Association (KNVB) confirmed his death in a statement, saying it was “shocked and deeply saddened” by the news. His cause of death has not been disclosed. Dieperink was arrested in April by the Metropolitan Police in the United Kingdom following a report of an alleged sexual assault involving a teenage boy in London. A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said officers responded on April 9 to a report of sexual assault at an address in Croydon and arrested a man in his 30s on suspicion of the offence. Police later said that after reviewing available evidence, including CCTV footage and digital devices, the investigation had concluded that “the evidential threshold had not been met” and no further action would be taken. AN OKLAHOMA GRANDMOTHER DIDN'T HESITATE WHEN SHE SAW HER GRANDKIDS STRUGGLING, GIVING HER LIFE, TO SAVE THEIR LIVES. (PHOTO).

 An Oklahoma grandmother didn't hesitate when she saw her grandkids struggling, giving her life, to save their lives. 


53-year-old Robecca Garrett was spending an enjoyable afternoon with her grandchildren at Lake Eufaula on Sunday, March 23rd, when things went horribly wrong.


Around 3:10 p.m. Robecca noticed her 8-year-old and 10-year-old grandchildren had gone into the lake and were struggling in the water at the 9 South Swim Area of the lake.


Reports indicate the water temperature of the water was 53 degrees that day. However, Robecca never had a second thought as she went headlong into the cold waters.  


Thanks to Robecca's selfless act, both grandchildren were soon safe, but Robecca was in serious trouble. After being underwater for an undetermined amount of time, Robecca was pulled from the water by two bystanders. 


Robecca was rushed by ambulance to McAlester Regional Hospital where she was pronounced deceased upon arrival. 


Robecca gave her all when it counted most and is the perfect example of unconditional love. 


I believe a statement in the GoFundMe organized to help with funeral costs sums it up best. "Her selflessness and courage are a testament to the kind of person she was, always putting her family first, no matter the cost".
