 Anambra Govt Warns Against Purchase of Encroached Land at Trans-Nkissi By MaryAnn Chukwuma The Anambra State Ministry of Lands has warned members of the public against purchasing plots at TransNkissi Phase 1, behind the Federal Government Girls College, Onitsha, from persons claiming ownership on behalf of the Umuosodi family of Onitsha. The warning was contained in a public notice dated Sept. 28, 2026, with Ref. No. PS/ML/2026/CR/VOL.II/028 and signed by the Permanent Secretary, Mrs Nkeiru Mokwe, for the Commissioner. According to the notice, the Ministry became aware that persons alleged to be members of the Umuosodi family had invaded and commenced clearing portions of the land with the intention of selling them to unsuspecting members of the public. It said compensatory plots had been allocated to the family and other families in Onitsha before the current administration.  First Lady Oluremi Tinubu Flags Off National Community Food Bank In Awka, Anambra State


Nigeria's First Lady Oluremi Tinubu has flagged off the National Community Food Bank programme in Anambra State, marking the zonal launch of the campaign in the South-East zone.


Joined by Anambra State governor,  Prof Charles Soludo,  the First Lady inaugurated the food bank at Amawbia Primary Healthcare Centre, Awka , as part of ongoing efforts to promote child nutrition with the provision of bio-fortified food items to pregnant women,  lactating mothers and children under the age of six across the country. 


As part of her one day working visit to the state, the First Lady also inaugurated a new RHI/TETFUND ICT Experience Centre at the Federal Polytechnic,  Oko to further push the frontiers of digital learning and opportunities in the country.


She also paid homage to the state traditional rulers council,  applauding their support for the federal government.


She assured them that the difficult reforms embarked upon by the Bola Tinubu administration is already bearing fruits,  evidents in the infrastructural development seen around the state.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
