 PRESIDENT TINUBU CONGRATULATES MINISTER OF STATE FOR FOREIGN AFFAIRS AMBASSADOR ENIKANOLAIYE ON HIS BIRTHDAY   President Bola Tinubu has congratulated the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Sola Enikanolaiye, on his birthday.    A statement by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President, Information and Strategy, indicates that the President describes Ambassador Enikanolaiye as a distinguished diplomat, accomplished administrator and dedicated public servant whose career reflects professionalism, patriotism and a deep commitment to Nigeria.   Ambassador Enikanolaiye served in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from August 1982 to August 2017, rising through the ranks to become Permanent Secretary. 70YR OLD NIGERIAN DIES IN SAUDI ARABIA.

                                                                                     THE SOKOTO STATE DELEGATION TO THE 2013 HAJJ PILGRIMAGE TODAY IN SOKOTO SAID ONE OF ITS MALE PILGRIMS AMADU ACHIDA HAS DIED IN SAUDI ARABIA.HE DIED OCT 16,TWO DAYS AFTER THE ARAFAT AND HE HAILS FROM WURNO LOCAL GOVERNMENT OF SOKOTO STATE.HE WAS COMPLAINING OF BODY PAINS AT MUNA NEAR MAKKAH SHORTLY AFTER,HE WAS CONFIRMED DEAD AND THIS MADE HIM SO FAR THE ONLY PILGRIM FROM THE STATE WHO DIED DURING THIS YEAR HAJJ EXERCISE.HIS REMAINS HAD SINCE BEEN BURIED BY THE SAUDI AUTHORITIES AT MAKKAH  AFTER A FUNERAL PRAYER AT THE GRAND MOSQUE AT THE KA'ABAH.HIS FAMILY HAD BEEN DULY INFORMED ABOUT HIS DEMISE.
