 PRESS RELEASE NNPC Ltd Announces New Senior Management Team Following the appointment of the Group Chief Executive Officer and Board of Directors, the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC Ltd.) has announced the appointment of a new 8-man Senior Management Team on Friday. The team which will be headed by the GCEO, Mr Bashir Bayo Ojulari, has Roland Ewubare as Group Chief Operating Officer; Adedapo Segun as Group Chief Financial Officer; and Olalekan Ogunleye as Executive Vice President Gas, Power & New Energy. Other members of the team are: Udy Ntia as Executive Vice President Upstream; Mumuni Dagazau as Executive Vice President Downstream; Sophia Mbakwe as Executive Vice President Business Services; and Adesua Dozie, as Company Secretary & Chief Legal Officer.                                                     Lamido's sons where arrested by the economic and financial crimes commission on thursday evening from their various homes in kano and were flown to abuja by the antigraft angency over allegation of money laundering of N11billion naira.There father lamido is completely shattered by the development and has sacrificed every other schedule at the moment to confront the emergency.the eldest son of the governor aminu,was ealier arrested by the efcc on december 11,2012 at the malam aminu kano international airport for money laundering to the tune of 50,000dollarshe was convicted but not sentenced by a federal high court in kano on julu.

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Baba Ijesha through his counsel Kayode Olabiran on Tuesday, told the appeal court that his client was set up and that he acted according to a script that he was invited to act on by his colleague. “The Appellant was set up. The Appellant is an actor. He acted in a script that he was invited to act by his colleague (PW1), Damilola Adekoya,” he said.
