Michael Bublé shared a public tribute to Michael J. Fox on October 4, 2026, after Fox was promoted to Companion of the Order of Canada at a ceremony at Rideau Hall in Ottawa. Bublé posted a photo of the two together on Instagram and called Fox "one of the architects of my life" saying that watching him as a kid made movies feel "like magic" and showed him "maybe a kid from Burnaby, Canada could dream as big as he wanted to",.He added that his admiration has only grown over the years, praising Fox's "strength," "humor" "grace" and "decency' and wrote, "He makes me feel good about what it means to be a human being. And really, isn't that the whole damn point?". Fans responded warmly, calling them "Canada's finest" and noting Fox's wide influence.
