A Texas woman was ordered to stop walking away from the police. Instead, she strangled a kitten until its neck was broken. Authorities stepped in to end its suffering. The sad events in this story took place in Beaumont, Texas, on September 10th. On that Thursday evening, officers with the Beaumont Police Department were called to a domestic situation that ended in a physical struggle to save a kitten's life. Sadly, the officers attempts were unsuccessful. The events began when 45-year-old Heather Broussard's boyfriend contacted authorities for a welfare check. He reported that Heather was possibly a danger to herself. He told dispatchers that he was following behind her as she walked down Binger Road. Today monday morning,the Chief Matron of the Lagos state House of Assembly,Mrs Caroline Oriola,was found dead in her office at the Assembly premises.Mrs Caroline had gone to the office on saturday but did not return home.Her dead body was discovered today monday morning by a cleaner,who had gone to clean the clinic before the resumption of work.It was learnt from some staff that she had gone to her office on that saturday to pick some drugs.The late matron drove her car to the Assembly complex,parked at the lawmakers car park,before proceeding to her office.She was also said to have put on the air conditioner in her office and backed the door.Her colleagues and other staff of the Assembly have expressed shock at the incident with many describing her as a very good woman who never took the health of others lightly.Other sources said they were told that she was in the clinic to pick up some drugs only for her dead body to be found on the floor by a cleaner.Her husband who waited endlessly for her to return home,had gone to check for her at the Assembly.However,her husband was said to have returned when she could not find her car at the general car park as she was supposed to have done.The late Matrons body has been conveyed to the morgue using the Assembly ambulance.
