 MISSING KANSHIO LADY REAPPEARS, FAMILY RAISES ALARM OVER CONFLICTING STORIES  11th January, 2026      The family of a young woman earlier reported missing in Kanshio, Makurdi, Benue State, has raised fresh concerns after she contacted them to say she was not missing and had travelled to Port Harcourt for work. A family source told Benue Info-pedia, that the woman reached out a day after alerts about her disappearance circulated on social media, urging relatives to stop searching for her and to discontinue further posts about the matter. However, the explanation has triggered suspicion within the family, following what they described as inconsistent details surrounding her movements. According to the source, the woman had travelled to Gboko during the Christmas period to stay with her elder sister, where she reportedly met a man and began interacting with him. UNILAG RUSTICATED 198 & EXPELLED 125 STUDENTS.{READ}.

Image result for unilag                    According to sources,authorities of the University of Lagos have expelled 125 students and rusticaated 198 others for various offences,including examination malpractices during last academic session.The lists of the affected students were published on the university website today sunday.The institution's Deputy Registrar {information},Mr Toyin Adebule,confirmed the expulsion and estimation in Lagos on Sunday.Adebule said the university ''will soon publish and display the names and photographs of the students in the media''.He said that the action was in line with the university's zero tolerance on malpractices and other vices in campus.''Last session,a number of students were caught in various forms of malpractices during their examinations.Some were found cheating during the examination with micro sheets,while others were hired as surrogates to write papers for others.Other were caught smoking weeds {marijuana } right in their halls of residence by their colleagues and reported to the university authorities.For those who were caught impersonating,writing examinations for others,they will face outright expulsion.In other to get the desired effect of their various punishments,we are planning to publish all their names as well as display their photographs all over the campus in the next one week.We shall carry out this measure in all the departments and faculties in the institution.This is to help the university ensure that the affected students will have nowhere to hibernate on campus.By doing this,the affected students would know that the university want to ensure total compliance to the sanction and would not want to be seen anywhere around the campus,''.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”. He said: “Our orders for four attack helicopters from the United States of America will take some time to arrive.
