Chukwuma Christopher Okpalauzuegbu, the councillor representating Amesi Ward. Hon. Okpalauzuegbu fondly known as Chuma, had been preparing to celebrate his wedding ceremony, an event filled with hope, promise and carefully laid plans. Loved ones, and sponsors, ready to stand beside him as he embark on a new chapter of life. In an unexpected and heart breaking turn of events, those dreams were cut short.         There was chaos yesterday in the rally venue conducted by the All Progressive Congress in Onitsha after youths decided to fight and struggle over their "mobilization fee" after a mega rally ahead of the November 18 governorship election.
According to reports, the youths fought each other during the money sharing saga at the All Saints' Cathedral in Onitsha, while some fled with the money they were meant to give others, according to a report by an eyewitness, Okagbue Anthony.
The All Progressives Congress (APC) on Friday flagged-off gubernatorial campaign in Onitsha, the commercial city of Anambra state - with Vice president Yemi Osinbajo, state governors and other dignitaries in attendance.More photos below.
