 A Texas man is being charged with m*rder after he shot an armed home intruder who forced his way into his home. This alarming incident occurred on the evening of Friday, January 9th; in Big Springs, Texas.  On the night in question, the Big Springs Police Department responded to a home after receiving a 911 call. Upon their arrival, they were met outside by 43-year-old Joel Florez, pictured below. While questioning Florez, they learned that there was a gunshot victim inside of the home. When officers made their way into the home they discovered 36-year-old Phillip Lozano deceased from a gunshot wound. During the ensuing investigation, they learned Lozano had forced his way into the home while armed with a weapon. Once inside the home, Florez shot Lozano, causing a fatal injury.  For unknown reasons, officers determined there was probable cause to charge Joel Florez with homicide in the death of Philip Lozano. PASTOR BAKARE AND MINISTER ADEOSUN DIDN'T MEET WITH PRESIDENT BUHARI TODAY.-FEMI ADESINA.#PRESS RELEASE.

    Stories with insinuations are making the rounds that Pastor Tunde Bakare of Latter Rain Assembly and Minister of Finance, Mrs Kemi Adeosun, met together with President Muhammadu Buhari at State House, Abuja,Friday. Far from the truth.
The Minister was at the Presidential Villa in connection with the Annual General Meeting and 25th Anniversary Celebration of African Export-Import Bank (AFREXIMBANK) holding Saturday in Abuja, which would be graced by President Buhari.
She ran into Pastor Bakare, who was on a scheduled visit to see the President, and they exchanged pleasantries.
The cleric particularly thanked the Minister for finding time to attend his mother's funeral, which took place in Abeokuta, Ogun State, penultimate weekend.
Mrs Adeosun had seen President Buhari not fewer than three times earlier in the week, and did not need to meet with him again on Friday.
This statement is to put events in proper perspective, and dispel all conjectures and fictive reporting.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”.
