 LASG PRESENTS STAFF OF OFFICE TO NEW ONIȘẸ OF ISE KINGDOM The Lagos State Government has presented the Staff of Office and Instrument of Appointment to Prince Ibrahim Adebowale Saliu, as His Royal Majesty, Alaiyeluwa Oba Ibrahim Adebowale Saliu, the Onise of Ise Kingdom in Lekki Local Government Area. The presentation was performed on Friday, August 21, 2026, by the Special Adviser to the Governor on Rural Development, Dr. Nurudeen Yekinni Agbaje, alongside the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Local Government, Chieftaincy Affairs and Rural Development, Mrs. Kikelomo Bolarinwa, with the approval of the Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu and the Lagos State Executive Council, following the demise of the late Oba Ganiu Adebowale Adegbesan, Onise of Ise Kingdom. NIGERIAN TROOPS ENCOUNTERED ARMED MILITIA IN BENUE STATE.{PHOTOS}.#PRESS RELEASE.

    1. Troops deployed in operation WHIRL STROKE on 4 August 2018 while on clearance operation along Gbajimba - Akor axis in Guma Local Government Area of Benue State encountered armed militia men with large herds of cattle.
2. The troops dislodged the armed militia men from their camp following a superior fire power.
3. Unspecified number of the armed militia men have been suspected to be killed by the troops while others escaped into nearby bushes with gun shot wounds.
4. Efforts are on to get other fleeing members of the armed militia men by the troops.
5. Items recovered include:
a. One AK 47 rifle.
b. Two AK 47 rifle magazines.
c. 60 rounds of 7.62 mm special ammunition.
d. Five motorcycles.
6. Members of the public are advised to report any suspicious movements or activities in their area to the law enforcement agents for prompt action.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
