 PRESIDENT TINUBU CONGRATULATES MINISTER OF STATE FOR FOREIGN AFFAIRS AMBASSADOR ENIKANOLAIYE ON HIS BIRTHDAY   President Bola Tinubu has congratulated the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Sola Enikanolaiye, on his birthday.    A statement by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President, Information and Strategy, indicates that the President describes Ambassador Enikanolaiye as a distinguished diplomat, accomplished administrator and dedicated public servant whose career reflects professionalism, patriotism and a deep commitment to Nigeria.   Ambassador Enikanolaiye served in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from August 1982 to August 2017, rising through the ranks to become Permanent Secretary. NIGERIAN TROOPS ENCOUNTERED ARMED MILITIA IN BENUE STATE.{PHOTOS}.#PRESS RELEASE.

    1. Troops deployed in operation WHIRL STROKE on 4 August 2018 while on clearance operation along Gbajimba - Akor axis in Guma Local Government Area of Benue State encountered armed militia men with large herds of cattle.
2. The troops dislodged the armed militia men from their camp following a superior fire power.
3. Unspecified number of the armed militia men have been suspected to be killed by the troops while others escaped into nearby bushes with gun shot wounds.
4. Efforts are on to get other fleeing members of the armed militia men by the troops.
5. Items recovered include:
a. One AK 47 rifle.
b. Two AK 47 rifle magazines.
c. 60 rounds of 7.62 mm special ammunition.
d. Five motorcycles.
6. Members of the public are advised to report any suspicious movements or activities in their area to the law enforcement agents for prompt action.
