 PRESIDENT TINUBU CONGRATULATES MINISTER OF STATE FOR FOREIGN AFFAIRS AMBASSADOR ENIKANOLAIYE ON HIS BIRTHDAY   President Bola Tinubu has congratulated the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Sola Enikanolaiye, on his birthday.    A statement by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President, Information and Strategy, indicates that the President describes Ambassador Enikanolaiye as a distinguished diplomat, accomplished administrator and dedicated public servant whose career reflects professionalism, patriotism and a deep commitment to Nigeria.   Ambassador Enikanolaiye served in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from August 1982 to August 2017, rising through the ranks to become Permanent Secretary. MAIRIGA APPOINTED EXECUTIVE SECRETARY, FGSHLB
President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the appointment of Mr. Ibrahim Abdu Mairiga as the Executive Secretary, Federal Government Staff Housing Loans Board (FGSHLB) with effect from 24th July, 2020 for a term of Four (4) Years in the first instance.
The letter conveying the approval was signed by The Head of Service of the Federation (HOS), Dr. Folasade Yemi-Esan. She stated that the new appointment calls for dedication, hard work and commitment for the realization of the mandate of the Board. She therefore advised Mr. Mairiga to bring his wealth of experience and knowledge to bear on the task ahead.
Mr. Ibrahim Abdu Mairiga was born on the 4th of December, 1960 in Gombe, Gombe State, Nigeria. He holds a Masters of Arts (History) from the University of Maiduguri and Bachelor of Arts (History) from Bayero University, Kano State. He has attended many professional courses both within and outside Nigeria.
Mr. Mairiga was the Director, Employment Mobility and Director Overseeing the Office of Permanent Secretary, Career Management in the Office of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation (OHCSF) before his current appointment. He is expected to assume duties in the Board immediately.
