A video showing one Miss Opemiposi Precious BOLAJI, an 18 year old 100L Mass Communication student beating her colleague identified as Miss Gloria AJAYI, a 100L Mass Communication student, in a private hostel outside the University campus has gone viral. In accordance with our institution's policies and extant regulations, the students who were captured in the viral video, appeared  before the Students' Disciplinary Committee at its emergency meeting held on Monday, May 6, 2024 for interrogations and appropriate recommendations, the report of which has been submitted to the University authorities. Nigerian disc jockey Florence Ifeoluwa Otedola, popularly known as DJ Cuppy, has expresses the hope that the tears she shed in 2023 will nurture the seeds she’s planting for 2024.

DJ Cuppy, who experienced heartbreak from her engaged boyfriend, Ryan Taylor, earlier this year, penned down some powerful prayer as she took to her X platform today, December 31st.

As she draws curtains to the end of 2023, the billionaire heiress wants the tears that she shed this year bring good luck to her in 2024.

She wrote, “May the tears I cried in 2023 water the seeds I’m planting for 2024 🥲🌱 #IJN”.

Namtira Bwala has threatened to file a lawsuit against the school authorities if her abusers are not punished within 48 hours. In a letter drafted by her lawyers, Deji Adeyanju and Co, Namtira asked the school authorities to immediately investigate and pronounce the stiffest punishments in the student’s rule book on Ms.Maryam Hassan, Miss Faliya, and nine other students who bullied her.
