 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville. AN 11-YEAR-OLD FLORIDA GIRL WAS KILLED AND HER 8-YEAR-OLD COUSIN WAS SERIOUSLY INJURED IN A TUBING ACCIDENT WHILE CELEBRATING THE END OF THE SCHOOL YEAR.(PHOTO).

 Troy Cannon, the former Marion County (Illinois) coroner has been charged with seven aggravated criminal sexual abuse charges against minor children that were in his care. This totals seven class one felonies. He could face multiple years in prison. 


The courts admonished Troy Cannon and put on record they found him to be a dangerous individual to any females under the age of 18 years old in the community. The court also stated that he is considered to be dangerous to the children involved in this case, as well as their mother. 


Troy Cannon is being held in jail due to these circumstances. He will be in court on July 2nd. 


I spoke to a detective about this case early on, and he stated that he would urge anyone that is a victim to come forward and speak to the Marion County Sheriff's Department.
