 PRESIDENT TINUBU CONGRATULATES MINISTER OF STATE FOR FOREIGN AFFAIRS AMBASSADOR ENIKANOLAIYE ON HIS BIRTHDAY   President Bola Tinubu has congratulated the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Sola Enikanolaiye, on his birthday.    A statement by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President, Information and Strategy, indicates that the President describes Ambassador Enikanolaiye as a distinguished diplomat, accomplished administrator and dedicated public servant whose career reflects professionalism, patriotism and a deep commitment to Nigeria.   Ambassador Enikanolaiye served in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from August 1982 to August 2017, rising through the ranks to become Permanent Secretary.  BENUE: ELDER GWAMILE DAJOH SLUMPS, DIES AFTER SPEAKER’S RESIGNATION


Tragedy has struck the family of Hon. Aondona Dajoh, the immediate past Speaker of the Benue State House of Assembly, following the sudden death of his elder brother, Elder Gwamile Dajoh.


Elder Gwamile reportedly collapsed and died on Sunday, just hours after his younger brother tendered his resignation as Speaker of the Assembly.


Details surrounding the incident remain scarce at the time of filing this report.


The late Elder Dajoh was said to have been deeply concerned over the political crisis in the House prior to his sudden passing.


His death follows Hon. Aondona Dajoh’s resignation, which paved the way for the election of Hon. Alfred Berger as the new Speaker during an emergency plenary session.
