  UFC fighter Allan Nascimento found dead at 34 after 'apparent heart attack' in his sleep UFC fighter Allan Nascimento has died at the age of 34 after suffering an 'apparent heart attack' in his sleep. The news comes just six weeks after the Brazilian's last fight in Las Vegas on June 20. He suffered a split decision loss to Mitch Raposo at UFC Vegas 119. A UFC statement read: 'This morning, Monday, August 3rd, our beloved flyweight fighter, Allan Nascimento, was found unresponsive after suffering an apparent heart attack in his sleep. 'Despite the efforts of the responding medical team, he was pronounced deceased at the scene. 'Our thoughts and deepest condolences are with Allan's family, friends, teammates, and loved ones during this incredibly difficult time.'  BENUE: ELDER GWAMILE DAJOH SLUMPS, DIES AFTER SPEAKER’S RESIGNATION


Tragedy has struck the family of Hon. Aondona Dajoh, the immediate past Speaker of the Benue State House of Assembly, following the sudden death of his elder brother, Elder Gwamile Dajoh.


Elder Gwamile reportedly collapsed and died on Sunday, just hours after his younger brother tendered his resignation as Speaker of the Assembly.


Details surrounding the incident remain scarce at the time of filing this report.


The late Elder Dajoh was said to have been deeply concerned over the political crisis in the House prior to his sudden passing.


His death follows Hon. Aondona Dajoh’s resignation, which paved the way for the election of Hon. Alfred Berger as the new Speaker during an emergency plenary session.
