 Nigeria's Defence Minister Summons Service Chiefs Amid Surge in Attacks on Military Bases Nigeria's Minister of Defence, General Christopher Musa (Rtd), has urgently summoned the nation's top military leaders to a high-level meeting at the Ministry of Defence headquarters in Abuja. The session addresses the escalating attacks targeting military installations, particularly in the North East region. The meeting includes key figures such as: - Chief of Defence Staff, General Olufemi Oluyede - Chief of Army Staff, Lt.-Gen. Waidi Shaibu - Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Sunday Aneke - Chief of Naval Staff, Vice Admiral Idi Abass - Representatives from the National Intelligence Agency (NIA) The summons comes in response to recent deadly assaults by terrorists on military bases in the North East. APC LEADER,SHOT DEAD BY ARMED ROBBERS.

•The late APC leader, Jimoh Hakeem          Engineer Akeem Arowolo Jimoh,has been shot by armed robbers at his residence on Kelani street,at Dopemu in Agege local government area of Lagos state,early sunday morning.He was the ex chairman of the All Progressives Grand Alliance.APGA,and he left for All Progressive Congress APC.the Robbers ransacked his residence around 2am and they could not find anything valuables in his house,it was because they could not get anything from him,including money that was why he was shot.He was a graduate of electric Engineering from the Kwara stste polytechnic,Ilorin,Kwara state.He has been buried according to Islamic rights.
