Marilyn Manson's sexual assault case by former assistant reinstated under new California law A previously dismissed sexual assault case against Marilyn Manson, filed by former assistant Ashley Walters, was revived Monday in Los Angeles Superior Court under a new California law extending the statute of limitations for certain sexual abuse claims. Judge Steve Cochran granted Walters’ motion for reconsideration, vacating his December 2025 ruling that had dismissed the case and allowing it to proceed toward trial. The original suit, first filed in 2021, accused Manson, whose legal name is Brian Warner, of sexual harassment, sexual battery, intentional infliction of emotional distress, and wrongful termination based on her time working for him in 2010–2011. Previous attempts to move the case forward were blocked because the claims were made years after the alleged incidents, with courts initially ruling that the delayed discovery doctrine did not apply.             According to sources,Chairman ofNigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission {NERC},Chief Sam Amadi,after the monthly meeting with Distribution and transmission companies said ''The arbitrary bills must be brought to an end.NERC has underlined the importance of following the methology of estimated billing.We have made it very clear that it is the responsibilities of the DISCOs to meter the customers,even though we have time gap to bridge the metering deficit but we want to see real action on that.We have also insisted that in the interim,before everybody is metered,the reckless estimation must stop immediately,and that means three things,one for customers,who have meters but not post paid meters,they have to go and read those meters,and for those who do not have any type of meter at all,NERC,has provided a methology that requires you to look at the amount of power you put on the feeder and that should be bench marked with those who have meters and you see how you do your estimation.What is going on now really in some places is not estimation,it is arbitral because estimation is based on some formula''.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”. He said: “Our orders for four attack helicopters from the United States of America will take some time to arrive.
