 STATEHOUSE PRESS STATEMENT PRESIDENT TINUBU'S MESSAGE OF CONDOLENCE TO CHIMAMANDA ADICHIE AND HER FAMILY   With a deep sense of grief, I condole with Ms Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, her husband, Dr Ivara Esege, and the entire family on the passing of their son, Nkanu Nnamdi.   As a parent myself who has suffered the loss of a loved one, no grief is as devastating as losing a child.   I empathise with the family at this difficult time, and I mourn this sad loss with them.   Ms Adichie is a literary icon who has brought joy and light to many homes globally, and I pray she and her family find strength in the Almighty in this trying hour.   My prayers are with the family.   Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Federal Republic of Nigeria January 8, 2026

SUDANESE MUSLIM WOMAN WHO WAS SENTENCED TO DEATH FOR MARRYING A CHRISTIAN.

Outrage: Meriam Ibrahim puts on a brave face as she holds Maya alongside son Martin who is also being held with her in the prison in Khartoum            A Sudanese woman who was convicted to death by hanging but before the hanging,she will be flogged 100 lashes for marrying a U.S christian Daniel Wani.This is the first picture of the mother of two ever since she gave birth in prison.Meriam Ibrahim 27 years old puts on a brave face as she holds her new born baby girl Maya who was born in the jail where she has been locked up for eight months.Despite only just having given  birth she will be given the 100 lashes that are part of her sentence in two weeks time unless her appeal is a success.The Sudanese authorities are intent on pressing ahead with the barbaric punishment despite mounting international otrage.The father of the baby Dniel Wani,a U.S citizen from Manchester,New Hampshire,holds Maya for the first time after being allowed to visit his wife,Meriam Ibrahim,who was arrested and sentenced to death for marrying him.I wonder when all these discrimination will stop.No one can chose for you who you will marry because love can only be found by you,and you know your choice no matter the race,colour or religion.More photos below.                                                                                      Proud: Father Daniel Wani, a U.S. citizen, from Manchester, New Hampshire, holds Maya for the first time after being allowed to visit to his wife, Meriam Ibrahim, who was sentenced to death for marrying him, a ChristianOrdeal: Meriam refuses to renounce Christianity saying that she must be 'true to herself'. Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.  Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”. He said: “Our orders for four attack helicopters from the United States of America will take some time to arrive. We have approached Turkey for assistance.” The President, however, stated that the delays were affecting the public’s perception of the administration’s commitment to addressing the security challenges.
