 NAMA Conducts Flight Validation at Ogun’s Gateway Agro-Cargo Airport Officials from the Nigerian Airspace Management Agency (NAMA) carried out flight checks and procedure validation yesterday at the Gateway International Agro-Cargo Airport in Ogun State, marking a major step toward the commencement of commercial flight operations. Governor Dapo Abiodun welcomed the development and commended the NAMA team, led by Engr. Miri Selzing, for their professionalism and encouraging remarks about the airport’s infrastructure—including its 4-kilometre runway, the longest in Nigeria, and its well-equipped terminal building. The Governor noted NAMA’s recommendations on the installation of additional navigational aids such as the Instrument Landing System (ILS), and described the agency’s ongoing support as a reflection of strong collaboration between Ogun State and federal aviation stakeholders.
