 LASG REAFFIRMS COMMITMENT TO END TUBERCULOSIS IN COMMUNITIES IN LAGOS STATE The Lagos State Government on Tuesday reaffirmed its commitment to completely eradicate Tuberculosis (TB) at the grassroots level across the metropolis.  The Permanent Secretary, Lagos State Health District III, Dr. Monsurat Adeleke made this known during a courtesy visit by the Institute of Human Virology, Nigeria team to her Ikoyi office, emphasising the present administration's commitment to continually prioritise health security across the state. She said the Lagos State First Lady, Dr. (Mrs.) Claudiana Sanwo-Olu, is a Tuberculosis (TB) champion with the mandate of ending TB now and the continuous expansion of TB scale-up diagnostic centres.  According to her, “The First Lady of Lagos State, Dr. (Mrs.) Claudiana Sanwo-Olu is a TB champion. IVORY COAST COACH HERVE RENARD,RESIGNS.

                   46 year old Herve Renard made these annoucement of his resignation yesterday friday as a coach of African cup of Nations winners Cote d'Ivoire,to pave the way for a move to French Ligue 1 side Lille.Herve Renard cited a new challenge as the reason for his departure from Coted' Ivoire,which had signed him on a two year contract in August 2014.Renard did not offer details concerning the termination of his contract,saying only there would be discussions between his new club and the Ivorian football Federation.He led Cote d'Ivoire to their second Nations cup title in Equatorial GBuinea in February,defeating neighbouring Ghana in a dramatic penalty shootout,just two years after Renard had won the title with Zambia.
