 A priest in Anambra State wedded a couple yesterday, despite disputes with the bride’s father In a video circulating online, the Reverend Father narrated that The father of the bride who is from Nteje had insisted that the wedding should not take place unless his daughter swøre never to associate with his mother whom he has a quarrel with. The conflict arose from past marriage issues between the father and her mother. Before the wedding, the father repeatedly met with the priest, warning that he had already taken the bride's mother to a deity and that the girl must follow him to the shrine to appease that deity before the marriage can go on. For peace to prevail, the priest advised the couple to comply with all the father’s requests so the wedding could proceed, the priest even donated some of the items that the brides father told her to bring to use in appeasing the deity. 5 DAYS AFTER A PLANE CRASH,A MOTHER AND HER INFANT SON,WAS RESCUED IN COLOMBIA JUNGLE.

child                   According to sources,a mother and her infant son who disappeared in a plane crash in the densed jungles of north western Colombia several days ago,were found alive and well in what authorities called a MIRACLE.The woman is identified as 18 year old Nelly Murillo,and her less than one year old so is identified as Yudier Moreno.They were found near the site where the Cessna 303 crashed on saturday in the thic bush.Colonel Hector Carrasscal,Commander of the Colombia Air Force in Antioquia department said yesterday wednesday that ''It's a miracle.It is a very wild area and it was a catastrophic accident.His mother's spirit must have given him strength to survive.Murillo and her baby were taken by helicopter to a nearby hospital with minor injuries.I was stunned they were alive.The lady has wounds and minor burns and apparently the child is unharmed''.The plan's pilot,Captain Carlos Mario Ceballos,died in the crash and rescuers found his body in the aircraft.They discovered the doors of the plan opened and they suspected that survivors may have clambered out.A 14 person search and rescued team scoured the dense forest for several days before finding the mother and child.The plane was traveling between Nuqui and Quibdo in northwest Colombia when it crashed.One more photo below.                                                                                 mum

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”. He said: “Our orders for four attack helicopters from the United States of America will take some time to arrive. We have approached Turkey for assistance.” The President, however, stated that the delays were affecting the public’s perception of the administration’s commitment to addressing the security challenges.
